I guess that sort of thing happens sometimes. Remind me to tell you about the time my Dad's army pay was held up for weeks and weeks while my mother was pregnant with me, and how my grandmother decided to take matters into her own hands and contact her congressman about the poor treatment privates got in the army. He contacted the general and got Dad's pay to him pronto, but oh, the army did not like the interference, and Dad was sent to Vietnam the next week.
