Please help me identify this critter. We have done a lot of nature study and camping over the past 25 years and I have never seen a winged bug like this before!

Ah! My FaceBook friends have helped on the cross-post over there. It is a fishfly or more likely the closely-related female Dobsonfly. It has beaded antennae instead of feathered antennae. Sweet! I've learned that something new today!
