Just wanted to let a certain Queenly friend (of the exclusive "H3" group) know that I received my copies of Poetic Knowledge: The Recovery of Education by James S. Taylor and The Christian Imagination edited by Leland Ryken via free shipping and UPS today. Just so she knows. So we can get together over a chai latte with our girls and discuss at least one of them...like she said we would...
Looking forward to dipping my toes into it tonight, even though it's past midnight.

Wonderful! Now that Claire has got the PSAT behind her, hopefully she'll have time in her daily schedule to get going on the Ryken book. Has K started it yet?
And I'm trying to lure Mrs. Newlywed into reading Poetic Knowledge with us. She's fairly buried in reading for college, but I can still dream, can't I?
Ky hasn't started it, yet, since we were preparing for company from Germany (one of the girls is named Clara after Clara Schumann, and she plays a lovely Sonata, I might add!)
We hope to begin very soon, though! Ky was excited that Annie Dillard is included in the mix! Pilgrim at Tinker Creek resonated with her this summer, and she is a fan.
