Snowy Primary Eve

We experienced a late, winter wonderland last night between nine and midnight. What a treat!

But not to worry on primary day. It's almost all gone in typical Texas fashion. It's already sunny and will be about 58 degrees today.

How incredibly odd. I was searching for a post on a message board for a member named javamama and one of the Google links that came up was this one to your blog.

Your family has grown up beautifully. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see how your children have grown considering that Christopher is 16 and driving and Lexi is 11 going on 30.

Anyway, I'm a blast from the past that I'm pretty sure you didn't want to hear from. Just wanted to wish you and your family well.

and yes, I am THAT Melani

Melani,

It's actually neat to hear from you! It's kind of a neat season of life, isn't it? Chris is already driving...amazing. Does he have a job, yet?

A. is about to turn 13, so Hubs and I will be at that place where all of the kiddos are teens at the same time. I've been waiting for that day; you know, one of the 'landmark' moments of life.

It's a small world, indeed. And Javamama is a very special codename, LOL. That's why I hung on to it (e-mail, b;og, slightly different form of it.)

Do you have a blog or facebook?

no, no blog for me. For the last 4 years while we've been here in Maine, I've worked online so I rarely spent much of my off-time on the computer. I startd one once, but I just didn't keep up with it very well.

I think my email is in my profile though. I'd love to hear how y'all are doing these days.
