The Annals of the extremely diverse, artistic, literary, and musical lifestyle of a Charlotte Mason education-loving family. On the edge of flood stage
A little too close for comfort...just about a half inch below the foundation line.
It smells like a lake outside...
could be because it is a lake outside. I am *thankful* it is not inside.
The "spring peeper" frogs are happily singing in my front and back yards. It's a good thing I find their song comforting, as they are right outside my windows.

Oh, goodness. Thanks for posting these pictures. The kids and I have been wondering how you all are doing near the lake.
And it has been pouring again this morning. I wonder when it will stop.
I'm so glad you and your family are okay! Ironically, my eldest two are outside photographing the rising creek across the street from us right now!
